This natural coffee comes from Hambela Wamena, which is a privileged - and stunning - area for growing high quality coffee. The owners are currently expanding coffee processing stations in this area due to the proximity to farms of active farmers and a center for cherry delivery.

Before harvest started, farmers put special attention to preparing the field for the season by weeding, pruning/stumping and replacing the old trees with new seedlings. The harvest in this area started early in November. A good amount of rain was seen in the fields during the rainy season, which anticipated that coffee production would be good this year.

The result was some good volumes of high scoring coffees with fruits, dark florals, and pleasant velvety mouthfeel or delicate tealike profiles.
